Our compact vision systems integrate seamlessly at the mold face or immediately post-ejection to inspect for short shots, splay, burns, flow lines, and other common defects—before downstream value is added.

Real-Time Defect Classification by Mold Cavity

By mapping vision results to specific cavities, our system identifies which cavity is producing defects. This allows molders to isolate problematic tooling or gating and avoid scrapping entire parts or batches.

Cycle-Based Triggering from Press PLCs

LM3 systems receive trigger signals directly from injection presses via Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, or Modbus. This enables perfectly synchronized inspection tied to each cycle, ensuring fast inspection without delaying mold open/close times.

Operator-Guided Rejection & Labeling Workflows

Defect coordinates and classifications are displayed to press-side operators for immediate rejection or bin sorting. Optional label printing and barcode scanning workflows can be implemented for rework traceability.
